My name is shamil and I am a freelance web/graphic designerbased in Colombo Srilanka. I have been freelancing now for 2 years. Prior to that I worked for various local & international design agencies for about 6 years. I have worked on a wide variety of design projects including brochure design, logos and corporate ID, Banner, Flex, Billboard, variety Stand exhibition panels, flyers and package design. And i started web designing back in 2004 with my cousin for fun, and the interest kept me going further in to that, today I work as a lead web designer for my Aneefs freelance web development team, we mainly target clients based on Australia, Saudi Arabia, and Sri Lanka. our Major projects include:

• Catalogues4u(www.catalogues4u.com.au) – one of the leading online catalogue distribution site.
• Gunweb CMS (AKMToys.com.au) a complete web portal framework developed by us which can be easily customized by the clients to add their own look and feel.
• Airline Tours Website Development with XML Integration with various Vendors ( on going).
• Currently we are working on redesigning the catalogues4u and planning on Catalogues4u IPhone App Designing.

I enjoy playing the hockey in my spare time, I have been playing hockey 10 years, & I can play cricket also. I am also enjoying blogging which I have been doing since Jully 2008.
